In the wedding industry, there’s seems to be an interesting trend that is a holdover from the “COVID era of weddings”. That is, the exciting and romantic draw of the destination wedding. It really makes sense though, for a similar budget to aa traditional wedding, you can say your I Do’s with your toes in the sand or underneath a waterfall. Less guests, less stress, and immensely more intimate. So, with that in mind, let’s review some of the ways you can incorporate your very own charter jet in any stage of your wedding planning process, destination or not.
1. Private Jet Proposal
Before we get into the actual wedding itself, let’s consider the question that sets the whole thing in motion, the proposal. I’ll set the stage. You’re on your way to a long weekend getaway. You just finished a champagne toast and a meal specifically designed by you on your jet. As you look at the person your about to spend the rest of your life with, you drop to a knee at 30,000 feet and ask them to join you in holy matrimony. They have a word for that my friend, it’s called winning.
2. Jet Setting your way Private Jet Bachelor/Bachelorette party.
So we’re post engagement, and you have your eyes set on the infamous bachelor/bachelorette party. In tow, you have the parent friend who has ibuprofen on hand and snacks for everyone in little baggies, the type A friend who has an itinerary with scheduled activities every 30 minutes, and that one friend who you aren’t entirely sure will make it back alive (see above gif for reference). While Vegas is in-fact a cliché spot for such an occasion, what isn’t cliché is a soft landing at the strip in your very own chartered jet followed by personal ground transportation to whisk you away to your hotel. Get out their friend, the night is young...
3. Flying your Guests to Wedding on a Group Charter Flight.
It’s time to get hitched! Whether you plan on flying with your guests or leaving before and treating them to a private charter. This is the optimal way to get everyone to your location all together. It’s going to be great; everyone is on team newlyweds, you should make t-shirts or something. Considering the average destination wedding has anywhere from 10-60 guests, this has charter flight written all over it, whether it's a private jet, a regional jet or a VIP aircraft. With the ability to customize your itinerary, this makes it incredibly convenient and easy to coordinate with everyone’s schedule for the best departure time.
4. Charter a Private Jet for your Honeymoon.
The deed is done! Congratulations! Now it is time for the ultimate newlywed stress test, the honeymoon; and let’s be honest, what is more stressful than traveling. If you really want to start your marriage off stress free and in style, then private air travel to your island paradise may very well be the answer you are looking for.
Many smaller and isolated honeymoon destinations are notoriously difficult to travel too, and the travel days can really eat into time that would otherwise be spent drinking something out of a coconut. This is a special romantic time and waiting in a line for an hour and a half to get through customs isn’t very romantic. This is where a private Jet can really shine. Skip the lines and get back that wasted travel time by chartering a Citation V directly to your honeymoon.
